Amba-Suhasini Jhala

Amba is an alumnus of LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, London UK) and is a theatre maker, performer, teacher, workshop facilitator and director.  Amba lives in New Delhi, India and is a co-founder of the theatre company Guild Of the Goat.  She hopes to create theatre that challenges and investigates our times — “what is the world and what our place within it” is the question she aims to continue to explore with and through her work. Amba continues her overseas collaborations in the UK and US — her work with Walkabout started about 4 years ago and is an invaluable part of her growth and self-discovery as a theatre maker and human.  Her work during the pandemic includes the 2020 virtual theatre experiment What you Will — a devised show in collaboration with The Shakespeare Ensemble, UK and Interwebs, a project built in collaboration with Walkabout in 2021.
